Most of our work is contracts, for offices, shops, guesthouses and families with more than three units.
1,200 rufiyaa a unit a year covers four scheduled services, a four hour response on a fault during working hours, and the small parts: filters, drain fittings, capacitors and fan bearings. Gas, coils, compressors and fan motors are charged, and the contract says so plainly.
The visits are scheduled rather than requested, which is the point. A contract where somebody has to remember to ring is a contract where the coil gets washed once a year in the week after the unit stops cooling. Ours are booked in the diary for the same weeks each year and we ring you to confirm.
For an office we do the work after six or at a weekend, at no extra cost, because taking twenty units down during working hours costs a business more than the contract.
Every unit gets a card, and at the end of the year you get one sheet showing every visit, every fault and what we expect each unit to need next. Three of our customers have used that sheet to plan replacements rather than replacing units when they fail.
