Before you pay that, we will ask what the unit is doing and tell you honestly whether it can wait until morning. Water on the floor usually can, once the unit is switched off. A breaker that trips repeatedly cannot, and should be left off until somebody looks at it. A unit that is running but not cooling can almost always wait, and a server room that is warming up cannot wait at all.
What we can usually do at night is get a unit running again rather than properly repaired. A capacitor or a drain block is a night time fix. A leak, a coil or a compressor is not, and we will not pretend otherwise at eleven o'clock.
Contract customers get a four hour response in working hours and the out of hours charge waived twice a year.
