A refurbishment of a mosque that had to keep working throughout: new roof covering, a new ablution block, replastering and a full rewire.
The job was split into four stages and each stage was agreed with the council and the imam before it started, so that prayers were never moved off the site. That made the programme longer and it was the condition the work was accepted on.
The rewire found what we expected and the council did not: a board that had been extended three times with no record of any of it. The new one is documented and the drawings are in the council office. Eleven weeks, on the figure we quoted.
