A company moving into a new building wanted something on every desk on the first morning.
Sixty boxes is nine days of work for two people and that is the number we gave them rather than a number they wanted to hear. Each box held a small dried arrangement, a candle, a notebook and a card with the person's name written by hand.
We made one complete box first and sent a photograph before starting the other fifty nine. That is now how we do every order over twenty, because a change of mind at box one is a conversation and a change of mind at box forty is a fortnight.
Delivered at eight in the morning on the day they opened, invoiced once with GST, paid by transfer. Three of their staff have since ordered from us privately, which is the part that actually matters.
