The single most useful thing we can tell anybody is that the dial goes far higher than your hair wants. Fine or coloured hair does not need the top setting of a straightener and will be damaged by it in a way that no treatment repairs. Most people should be using about two thirds of what they are using.
The second is that the brush matters more than the dryer. A wide vent brush on damp hair does most of what people buy an expensive dryer for.
Tools bought here are shown to you working, at the counter, before you take them. If a tool fails within the first year bring it back and we will deal with it directly rather than sending you to a service centre, which for most of these tools does not exist in this country anyway.
