Preparing and presenting the drawing set required for building permission, and dealing with the comments that come back.
4,500 rufiyaa where we drew the house, or 7,500 where somebody else did and the drawings need bringing up to what is asked for. Resubmissions after comments are included and not charged as a new job, which is the arrangement that matters because the first submission is very often not the last.
The things that get drawings returned are almost always the same. A setback measured to the wrong face. Coverage calculated on the wrong area. A staircase that does not have a legal rise and going once it is drawn at full size. A parking or bicycle space shown in a position where a vehicle could not physically arrive. A section that does not match the plan, which happens when the plan is changed late and the section is not redrawn.
We check all of those before submitting rather than after, and we would rather delay a submission by four days than have it returned in three weeks.
What we do not do is promise an approval or a timeline. Anybody who does is guessing, and the honest answer is that we present a correct set and answer what comes back quickly.
