Half of what we carry by count is small: a parcel, an envelope, a spare part, a prescription, a passport going to an agent.
Small cargo is where informal arrangements fail most often, because nobody signs for anything and a bag in a wheelhouse belongs to nobody. Every item we carry is entered at the desk, marked, photographed, and signed for by a named receiver at the other end.
We also connect to the ferry network and to the Male cargo boats. If your item is coming down from Male on Wednesday, we will collect it at the harbour, hold it in the shed and put it on the Thursday circuit, so you are not depending on somebody being at the quay at the right hour.
Documents travel in a sealed pouch and are handed over against an identity check. That sounds excessive for an envelope and it is the reason councils and clinics use us for the ones that matter.
