A surprising number of ordinary imports need something before they can land: food, medicine, chemicals, radios, refrigerant gas, anything for a vehicle, and anything that looks like a weapon and is actually a tool.
We will read a supplier's quotation and tell you which lines need a permit, roughly what duty applies, and whether the description on the invoice will stand up. It takes us an hour and it is the cheapest hour an importer spends.
We do not guess at a classification to make a quotation look good. Where a heading is arguable we tell you both figures and which one we will file.
This service is free for customers who ship with us and charged at an hourly rate for anybody else, which seems fairer than pretending it costs nothing.
