Project cargo is anything that has to be measured before it can be quoted: a generator set, a chiller, a workboat, a cement silo, a crane section.
We survey it on paper first. Weight, the three dimensions, the lifting points, where the centre of gravity sits, and what it has to pass through at both ends. A lift that fits on the quay and not through the island jetty is a lift that gets done twice.
For resort and island construction work we plan the whole sequence rather than each piece, because the order things land in decides how much of it has to be moved again. Plant that arrives before the slab is poured is plant standing in the way for two months.
We do not own cranes or barges. We hire them, we tell you what we are paying, and we add our fee on top where you can see it. The alternative, where the hire is buried in one figure, is how project cargo quotations become impossible to compare.
