A stand package for a trade exhibition abroad, with the whole thing having to travel as checked baggage and come home in a state to be used again.
Material decided everything. The three metre backdrop was printed on fabric rather than PVC, because fabric creases out in twenty minutes on a frame and PVC holds every fold it was packed with for the life of the banner. The frame folds into a bag of a metre. Two roll up stands, a fabric table cover and four hundred cards went into the second case.
We packed it here and weighed it, which is not a printing job and is the reason it worked: the first packing was four kilograms over the airline's limit, so the heavy A frame was left behind and replaced with a second roll up.
It came back from two exhibitions and has since gone to a third. The fabric backdrop has been washed once. The table cover needed replacing after the second trip, which is what a table cover does.
