Engagements, nikah day gatherings, small receptions and family lunches, from fifty to a hundred and fifty guests.
These are quicker to arrange and they have their own trap, which is timing rather than scale. A nikah at the court or with the qazi at home has a fixed hour that is not ours to move, and everything else in the day is measured from it. Families routinely plan a two o'clock lunch around a nikah that has not been confirmed yet, and then the nikah lands at half past twelve.
So we confirm the fixed hour first and build the day from it, with an honest allowance for the fact that everybody will want photographs immediately afterwards and that takes forty minutes, not ten.
From 9,500 rufiyaa including coordination on the day. Three weeks' notice is comfortable, and we have done these in ten days.
