Buckets, basins, water jugs, storage boxes, food containers, plates, cups, cutlery, pans, kettles and flasks.
This is a slower department with a much better margin, and it is what makes the difference between a shop that gets by and a shop that makes money. Plastics do not expire, they survive the boat, and a household that needs a bucket needs it today rather than next week.
The awkward part is volume. Plastic is light and takes a great deal of space, so the freight can cost more than the goods. We nest everything that nests and we load plastics on top of the heavy cargo, and we will tell you when an order is being priced by its bulk rather than its weight.
Bring a photograph of what your island buys. Preferences are surprisingly local and we would rather send what sells than what we think should sell.
