Nine storeys, forty eight units, and a programme that did not allow for a single week of waiting on materials.
We held stock against the pour schedule rather than against orders, which meant the site could bring a pour forward by two days without asking us for a favour. Steel came cut and bent to the bar bending schedule, in batches keyed to the floor it was going into, so nothing had to be stored on a site with no room to store it.
Over fourteen months: one thousand one hundred tonnes of cement, ninety tonnes of reinforcement, and the plumbing and electrical first fix for all forty eight units.
