Nooru Quran Centre Reading classes for children and adults in Maafannu, one term at a time

Donations, and what they pay for

A bank transfer and a receipt back. Nothing is collected on this website.

The centre takes donations and they pay for two things: the places kept each term for families who cannot meet the fee, and the room itself, which at present means the air conditioning in the big room.

How it reaches us: a transfer to the account printed on the donations page, then a message to the office with the reference, and the office emails a receipt carrying its own reference. There is no card payment here, nothing is collected on this website, and nobody from the centre will ever ask you for a donation in a message you did not start. If somebody does, it is not us.

We do not print a running total on this page. The only figure anybody here can stand behind is the one the treasurer has closed a month on, and a number on a web page drifts away from a set of books quickly. Ask the office and you will be told the last closed figure and the date it was closed on.

A donation towards the kept places is not matched to a named family and never will be. The principal decides those privately and the family is not told who paid, which is the only arrangement that lets a parent keep sending their child without feeling watched.
