We do not issue rulings and we do not answer questions of religious practice. When one is put to a teacher, and it is put most weeks, the answer is that it is a question for your own scholar. That is not the office being unhelpful; it is the honest limit of what a reading class is.
We do not promise that a child will have memorised any particular amount by any particular date. How much somebody holds after a term varies so widely between two children of the same age in the same class that any figure printed here would be a sales line rather than information.
We do not issue certificates and we do not grade anybody. What exists is a written record of what a student has read and what to work on, kept by the teacher and printed at the office whenever a family asks.
