A suit for the groom, dresses for his mother and three sisters, and nine days to do all of it because the family had been let down by another shop.
Nine days is not enough for a suit and we said so. What made it possible was giving up the basted fitting and cutting from a card we already had, because the groom had bought two shirts from us in 2022 and his measurements were in the drawer. One fitting at day six, sleeves and trouser break at day eight.
The four dresses went to the ladies section and were made in parallel by two tailors, with all four measured in one visit on the first evening so nobody had to come twice.
Everything was collected on the afternoon before the wedding. We charged a rush rate on the suit and nothing extra on the dresses, and we said which was which on the bill.
